Cluster Finance Lead [Vietnam, Thailand, and Philippines]
Position Summary
The CFL is the partner to the Country Manager within cluster scope regarding strategy and operational financial management of the business, he/she assures an integrated view on sales, operational and financial planning and cashflow, as well as managing control posture of country scope of financial statement and taxation position. He/she partners with and provides advice to the local country finance team and divisional management, provides dedicated business analysis and decision support, enables effective financial business steering and resource allocation in country. Support business growth and balance with appropriate risk management. Ensures adequate focus and compliance to company policies and controls frameworks.

The Role (Responsibilities)
Finance Business Partnership - Controllership
Leading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process in country within cluster scope
Converting budgets into operational plans and KPI and ensure tracking and implementation
Active participant in the country S&OP process and leading reconciliation of operational and Financial forecast
Management reporting/analysis and decision support
Supporting business to track KPI’s through appropriate management reporting process
Ensuring that business leverages management reporting systems and other reporting capabilities
Provides financial analysis and decision support for all business decisions in country
Financial support to business on pricing, rebates and discount including commercial policies and sales incentives plan (SIP)
Support marketing team to conceptualize, plan and implement appropriate pricing strategies, transactional pricing and rebate and discount programs
Ensure compliance and controls overpricing, rebates and discount including adherence to company policies, appropriate accruals and accounting
Guiding resource allocation and cost management
Managing cashflow including receivables and overdue, inventory including channel inventory
Cross Functional stakeholders connect and cooperation
Liaises with accounting, taxation on critical business and financial process including compliance to policies, transfer pricing etc –
Provide financial support to local divisional functions e.g. R&D, MD, region and FS
Credit Management - Ensuring appropriate balance between credit management to support business growth and time management risk
Leads formulation of credit management policy and setting up of process for credit in country
Oversee annual credit limit setup of customers and changes to credit terms
Oversee operational of credit management link to AR and financial reporting
Works with business to ensure collection plans for overdue, tracking and reviewing receivables and ensuring appropriate reserves for bad debts
Ensuring the whole transactional link to entity financial statement and taxation – part of scope of country accounting and taxation and bridging with country finance
Support all audits – Internal, SOX, Statutory, Indirect & Direct tax
Alignment with Region Finance on reporting and adherence to reporting deadlines
The Candidate (Requirements)
A professional accounting or finance degree or equivalent professional qualification CPA MBA
Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis
Strong business understanding and insights and ability to drive results
Strong management, leadership, organizational and communication skills – System orientation
Ability to balance between business support and risk management, Analytical skills, structure approach, proactive and self-motivated
Advance skills to analyze business and financial trends
Strong networking capabilities and ability to work in a matrix environment
Ability to develop and motivate talent
Experience in ERP systems typically or SAP
