The opportunity

Our Valuation, Decision Modelling and Economics (VDME) professionals play an integral role in helping clients effectively execute their transactions. As a valuation professional at EY, you will help global organisations make strategic decisions by providing responsive, objective advice on valuing businesses, shares and assets. As a business modelling professional, you will carry out model review, model support and model build services to assist clients with their strategic decisions. Clients will see you as a vital part of their team. Your key responsibilities

You will be a core member of the Valuation, Decision Modelling and Economics (VDME) team advising on business plans, transactions, decision support, optimisation and review of all types of business for a diverse range of clients.

You will advise on the evaluation of all types of businesses, projects and securities, intangible assets and financial instruments.

This could be for financial/tax reporting, mergers & acquisitions, advisory for capital transformation, investment and business growth plans. You will manage and deliver projects and teams of people and work within a diverse and highly professional group of valuation and business modelling specialists.

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related major.

1‑2 years of working experience for the Associate and 3‑6 years of working experience for the Senior role in consulting, valuation, financial modelling and/or project finance/PPA.

Proven track record excelling in corporate finance (such as transactions, strategy planning, divestment, corporate structuring) as a core strength.

Strong strategic thinking, logical reasoning and analysis skills.

Strong understanding of concepts of corporate finance, valuation, accounting and general Indonesian taxes.

Strong leadership with good intrapersonal skills internally and externally, including coaching juniors below you.

Excellent communication skills both in English and Indonesian, verbal and written.

Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, Python, etc. is a plus.

Experience preparing capital budgeting, portfolio analysis and financial strategies is a plus.

CFA or any professional designation is a plus.
