Business Translator (Mandarin Speaker)

PT Geomineral Inti Perkasa, a subsidiary of Xiamen Xiangyu Group (Fortune Global 500), is focused on nickel mining operations in Indonesia. We are currently seeking a Business Translation Specialist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities Responsible for Chinese–English–Indonesian oral and written translation in the company’s daily business activities, including meetings, business negotiations, project communications, contracts, and related documents, ensuring accurate, professional, and efficient information delivery, and providing language support for key matters. Responsible for daily communication and coordination with Indonesian partners, ensuring smooth interaction, maintaining strong cooperative relationships, and continuously following up on the progress of cooperation matters. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and deeply managing clients in the Indonesian market, identifying potential cooperation opportunities, and participating in the formulation and execution of business development strategies. Coordinate the interface between the company’s internal teams (mining, sales, operations, etc.) and Indonesian partners, synchronizing business needs and project progress, improving cross-functional collaboration efficiency, and driving smooth project implementation. Participate in external cooperation discussions, business meetings, and project visits; prepare meeting minutes, summarize key points, and follow up on action items to ensure effective execution of communication outcomes. Assist in collecting and organizing information related to the Indonesian market and industry to support the company’s business decisions, partnership evaluations, and project advancement. Be willing to undertake frequent business travel and on-site work at mining areas as required by projects, and complete other tasks related to business support, translation, and external cooperation assigned by supervisors.

Future Development Direction Lead or participate in project negotiations, contract signing, and execution follow-up; coordinate resources among all parties to ensure successful project delivery. Collect and analyze updates on Indonesia’s mining and related industries, policies, and competitive intelligence; prepare market analysis reports to support the company’s strategic decision-making. Assist in formulating business targets and annual plans for the Indonesian market; track key KPI performance and regularly evaluate and optimize business strategies.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Indonesian language, international trade, or related fields preferred. Study or living experience in Indonesia or China is a plus. Language:

Proficient in Chinese and Indonesian, with fluent speaking and strong written skills; English proficiency is preferred. Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant cross-border business or business translation experience preferred; background in nickel mining or related industries is an advantage; familiarity with the Indonesian market is highly desirable. Outgoing personality with strong communication skills; able to adapt to the pace of mining projects and accept frequent business travel and on-site assignments in mining areas.
