About the company Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a company pioneering in the aquaculture industry.

Job Responsibilities

Design and implement operational strategies that reinforce the company’s long-term vision and growth objectives.

Direct end-to-end supply chain activities—including farming, logistics, trading, processing, and distribution—ensuring efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

Introduce systems and frameworks that enhance operational efficiency, minimise waste, and support scalability.

Harness data and technology to streamline workflows and strengthen decision‑making capabilities.

Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in operational outcomes.

Conduct regular reviews of operational plans, refining strategies to consistently achieve or surpass financial and productivity targets.

Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing operations team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Align departmental objectives to foster cross‑functional collaboration and ensure unified progress toward company goals.

Identify and bridge skill gaps by providing targeted training and professional development opportunities.

Promote a workplace culture that reflects organisational values, enhancing employee engagement and retention.

Partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership, and key stakeholders to align operational strategies with broader business objectives.

Serve as a principal liaison with partners and regulators, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with industry standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

7–10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing.

Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and scaling businesses.

Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced data analytics tools.

Strong expertise in aquaculture or agri‑based operations, spanning upstream production, midstream trading, and downstream processing (shrimp industry experience is a significant advantage).

Exceptional analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.

Experience engaging with investors, lenders, and development finance institutions.

Preferably based around Central Java.
