Senior Merchandiser

Senior Merchandiser serves as the strategic bridge between global customer visions and factory production reality. Success in this role is defined by accurate material sourcing, seamless production timelines, and proactive buyer communication. This role is vital to the organization, ensuring every order is executed on time, meets global quality standards, and remains cost-competitive.

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management:

Establish and maintain professional relationships with international buyers, ensuring all order requirements are clearly understood by internal teams.

Production Coordination:

Develop and oversee the Time & Action (T&A) Plan to ensure every stage—from sampling to shipment stays on schedule.

Material Procurement:

Define and monitor raw material and accessory requirements with suppliers to ensure a continuous production workflow without inventory bottlenecks.

Technical & Quality Control:

Verify that garment construction and fabric types meet the customer's technical specifications before moving into mass production.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate intensively with Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, and Logistics departments to minimize risks of delays or technical errors.

Qualifications

Experience:

A minimum of 5+ years in garment merchandising or production (proven track record with global buyers is highly preferred).

Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and large-scale manufacturing processes.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis, order tracking, and production reporting.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.

Time Management:

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
