Paint Shop Manufacturing Engineer

to strengthen our production team at the Subang factory. This role is critical in ensuring stable paint processes, high-quality vehicle finishing, and continuous improvement across paint shop operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)

Minimum 5 Years Experience in

automotive paint shop manufacturing

Good understanding of paint materials, process parameters, and equipment

Experience handling paint defects analysis and root cause problem solving

Familiar with automotive manufacturing environment and production KPIs

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Willing to work 6 days onsite at

VinFast Subang Factory

Plan, develop, and optimize paint shop manufacturing processes including

Pretreatment & ED (Electro-deposition)

Primer, Basecoat, and Clearcoat

Support daily production operations and troubleshoot paint-related issues (defects, rework, downtime)

Monitor and analyze paint quality performance, yield, and process capability

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, cost, and quality

Support new model introduction (NPI) and line ramp-up activities

Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and HSE teams

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (5S, SOP, ISO, etc.)

Prepare technical documentation, work instructions, and reports related to paint processes
