Job Description

This position reporting to the CFO based in Singapore, the Finance Manager for Singapore will be leading a team of five and managing all the brands in the group. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the reporting, analysis and budgeting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data submission, and overseeing the daily finance operations. He/She will also ensure controls are in place and that the Group’s compliance and governance policy is adhered to.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting (Budgeting, etc.), including the preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow forecasts.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

Review and control capital expenditure requests for new investments, analysing and ensuring all assets are properly accounted for in detail.

Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Ensure proper internal controls are in place and in accordance with Group policies.

Implement best‑practice rules defined by HQ.

Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and budgets.

Analyse financial performance against targets and provide insightful recommendations to the senior management leadership team.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, offering financial expertise and guidance.

Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and other stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Collaborate with Brands on operational and finance matters to support and provide strategic decision‑making.

Manage and ensure the integrity of reporting systems.

Ensure reconciliation is performed between systems.

Handle ad‑hoc tasks related to financial operations and lead the finance team.

What we're looking for

3–5 years of experience in a similar Finance Manager role in the same capacity.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated ability to analyse financial data, identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different business teams.

High degree of initiative and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI and Excel; data analytics skills such as Python are desirable.

Good knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA.

A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with a professional accounting certification (CPA/Chartered Accountant) is preferred.
