Senior Engineering Manager

Leads the engineering function of a high-performance operations responsible for asset reliability, maintenance excellence, utilities performance, security management, and successful delivery of capital projects aligned with long‑range business strategy / Site Master Plan.

Drives automation, IT/OT integration, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability performance, and product quality.

Ensures engineering practices comply with system (KORE, SPP, ISO) and regulatory requirements and align with Corporate Engineering strategies.

As a key member of the plant leadership team, sets and tracks Business Plan targets and models the expected culture and behaviours of the Company.

As a people manager, is responsible for technical capability development and building a multi‑skilled, high‑performance team.

Plant Maintenance

Manages effective and efficient preventive and repair maintenance programs for all plant facilities, utilities, and equipment, including calibration and spare parts availability.

Applies a comprehensive maintenance strategy to reduce breakdowns and increase asset lifespan, staying at the leading edge of maintenance best practice and using appropriate monitoring support.

Liaises with Production and OE function to deliver OEE improvements and to identify and implement ideas that support value creation.

Manages contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with systems and regulatory requirements.

Ensures the Plant Security program is updated and always maintained.

Capex Project Management

Updates the Site Master Plan to ensure operations can fulfil future business needs.

Prepares and manages the 3‑year CAPEX cycle: identifies and prioritises Capital Projects according to business needs.

Liaises with the Finance Manager for the RFA database and with LEC Genpact for asset updates.

Performs the PMO role for project execution, including post‑project review while adhering to SPP and LCOA requirements.

Manages the identification and qualification of new suppliers/contractors, including price negotiation.

Procures indirect materials and services required for new capital projects and plant operation.

System Compliance

Supports the overall QSE Management System implementation, including but not limited to document management, internal audit, CAPA/RCA program, change management, and safety program for both internal and external parties.

Familiarises with and complies with all applicable standards implemented in the plant such as KORE, ISO (9000, 14000, OHSAS 18000, 22000), SPP.

Ensures full compliance with related SPP requirements in terms of operations’ internal control, including purchasing of indirect materials, and develops programs and policies to ensure inventory accuracy of fixed assets and reconciliation.

Actively participates in audit preparations, ensuring the operations pass all audit requirements.

Department Head / People Manager

Develops and manages the annual operating budget, ensuring effective control and tracking of engineering overhead costs and capital expenditures (CAPEX).

Drives vertical alignment of departmental and individual objectives and plant goals, establishes clear priorities and monitors performance against defined targets.

Manages the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development and off‑boarding, ensuring a stable and effective organisational structure.

Develops direct reports through regular performance enablement conversations, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and guidance to build a multi‑skilled, high‑performing engineering team.
