Backend Developer

to join their product team in building and scaling core backend systems. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Lead Engineer and Founder to develop new features, improve system performance, and ensure platform reliability in a production environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of backend components end-to-end within a lean, fast-moving startup team.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using

PHP (Laravel) Design and build secure, scalable

RESTful APIs Work cross-functionally with Product and Frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end Optimize database performance ( MySQL / PostgreSQL ) Monitor and troubleshoot live production systems Deploy and maintain backend applications using

(EC2, RDS, CloudWatch) Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and code quality Requirements Proven experience in backend development using

PHP (Laravel) Hands-on experience building production-level REST APIs Strong understanding of backend architecture and software design principles Experience working with relational databases and query optimization Familiarity with
