HIRING FOR YS SUSHI BAR (PT EKAYS BALI CONSULTING)
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Sushi Chef
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the pre-opening phase of our sushi bar, developing the menu from scratch, leading the kitchen operations, and ensuring consistently exceptional food quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations.
Guide, train, and motivate the sushi and kitchen team to uphold high performance standards.
Create and refine menu items, specials, recipes, and overall sushi bar concept.
Ensure consistent food quality, flavor, portioning, and presentation.
Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory systems, and food cost management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation that meets hygiene standards.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Support overall kitchen workflow and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
Strong expertise in sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki, and Japanese-inspired dishes.
Solid knowledge of sushi bar operations, ingredients, and traditional techniques.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Based in or willing to relocate to Bali, Indonesia.
Starting salary:
IDR 7,000,000
per month, depending on the experience.
Performance-based incentives.
