A leading integrated mining company in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. With businesses in mining, construction, property, etc.

About the Role The role will be responsible tomanage all logistics and supply chainwithin the site. From material, to delivery, to waste disposal. This position will report to the Director.

Job Responsibilities

Procurement – Assist strategically plan and manage to procure all materials including spare parts, consumables, and outsourcing services for all heavy equipment, supporting equipment at competitive prices (CQD).

Suppliers Management - Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, dealers, service providers and consumers. Have good interactive skills for best terms and conditions with quality services & supplies. Periodical evaluation & selection suppliers by assessment & grading min once a year.

Material tracking - Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, reliable & economical transport costs and efficiency. GR to be posted in SAP system within 72-Hrs max.

Cataloguing - Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and shipments arrangements. Direct the staff, optimize and coordinate internal & external full order cycle.

SOP - Establishing, socializing, implementation and optimize the correctness to policies and procedures; providing trends to make effective and efficient explaining processes and flows & incline with SAP program MM module recommending actions.

Complaints - Resolve any arising problems at users end or complaints from suppliers end. Visit them periodically for better control. Establish the good relationship with suppliers.

Coordination - Internal coordination with R&M department on instant basis make a good collaboration. Also, coordination with finance department for timely payment specially for critical items and important suppliers to avoid any delays that could be a production stopper.

Inventory control – Minimize the inventory by control supplies (JIT), avoid dead stocks. GI and GR controlled by SAP installed. Physical stock taking with min 2-months cycle time.

Audit – Periodical audit min quarterly, variance reports, verify stocks in warehouse and in the systems are in exact value. Proper labeling on material in stock

Dead Stock – Manage slow moving or dead stock that are not used lying in warehouse over 6-months.

Disposal Plan – Disposal plan for items that are not in-use for over 1-year at site. Hazardous & Toxic Waste and Non-Hazardous Wastetimely disposal.

House Keeping – Make a warehouse layout plan. Keep the workplace clean, safe and healthy. Maintain the warehouse and keep it clean.

MSDS (Material Safety Data Stock) – MSDS to be made available at storage points for hazardous material (can cause risk, how to use, and action to take if incidents occurs).

Job Requirements

Bachelor in Business Administration or Materials Management or Logistics or Supply Chain with 10-12 years work experience in similar field.

English and Indonesian communication skills are necessary; spoken & written.

Proven working experience as a SCM/Logistic Manager/GM.

Record of successful distribution and logistics management.

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.

Proficient in MS Office, working knowledge of SAP (S4Hana) - Materials Management.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, excellent organizational leadership skills and organizational improvement skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Proven experience as materials manager, hands on in shipping and receiving material.

Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.

Understanding of forecasting and budgeting.
