Business Development Manager - Orthopedic

designs and manufactures technology that expands the limits of living. As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will help the assigned market achieve better brand recognition and profitable financial growth through distributor partnerships, key opinion leaders (KOLs), lead surgeons, and strategic account management.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a market strategy for the assigned territory, cultivating relationships with channel partners, driving new product launches, coordinating deal execution, and maintaining a robust pipeline of business opportunities. You will also provide technical training to sales teams, manage indirect (channel partner) sales personnel, and support sales growth for the orthopedic implant portfolio.
Responsibilities
Achieve sales budgets for the assigned product portfolio.
Report on business prospects, competitor activities, market trends, and sales performance.
Perform market mapping for distributor markets and conduct risk assessments.
Coordinate deal execution processes, including due diligence and transaction preparation.
Analyze and execute business projects; maintain BD pipeline reports and trackers.
Develop new channel partners and implement equipment capitalization projects.
Provide feedback on business processes and collaborate with management to improve effectiveness.
Train and coach sales staff to maximize performance.
Maintain high product knowledge and stay updated on industry developments.
Ensure distributor compliance with training modules and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in healthcare/medical device sales management.
3โ5 years in orthopedic implant sales or related position, with at least four direct reports.
Strong financial presentation skills.
Competences
