Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef, located in Makassar. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting diverse cuisines, creating menus, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and managing kitchen operations. Additionally, the role involves supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and sourcing high-quality ingredients while staying within budget.
Qualifications
Culinary expertise, including proficiency in cooking techniques, plating, and creating diverse cuisines
Menu development and food safety knowledge, including compliance with health codes
Kitchen management and leadership skills, including staff supervision and scheduling
Inventory management and cost control experience
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in a professional kitchen or similar role is a strong advantage
