The team operates in a fast-paced brokerage environment where proactive problem-solving and strong carrier relationships are essential.

About the Role:

The Bilingual Logistics Coordinator will manage oversized and car carrier freight in a highly operational, negotiation-driven role. This position requires daily communication with truck drivers and carriers to secure capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and manage shipments from dispatch through delivery. The role demands resilience, accuracy, and professionalism when handling high-pressure situations, dropped loads, and last-minute changes. Prior experience in a freight brokerage environment is required.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage oversized and car carrier shipments from dispatch through final delivery Negotiate rates, detention, layover, and accessorial charges directly with truck drivers and carriers Source and secure capacity using load boards such as DAT and Truckstop and through existing carrier relationships Manage high-volume, time-sensitive freight in a fast-paced brokerage environment Communicate proactively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to prevent delays and service failures Resolve issues including dropped loads, late pickups, mechanical delays, and route changes Maintain accurate and detailed shipment records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) Manage multiple inbound and outbound calls while prioritizing urgent operational tasks Ensure full compliance with shipment requirements, especially for oversized and specialized loads

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of

2+ years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Dispatcher within a freight brokerage Direct hands-on experience managing oversized, specialized, or car carrier freight Proven ability to negotiate rates and accessorial charges with truck drivers and carriers Strong working knowledge of load boards such as

DAT and Truckstop Experience using a

Transportation Management System (TMS ), with Tai Software strongly preferred Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Ability to multitask, manage multiple calls, and perform effectively under pressure Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely Experience using 3CX or similar dialer systems Prior experience working with North American carriers
