Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
We are presently seeking a Technician who will be responsible to develop, sustain and improve process of production in his/her designated area, creates process documentation, and solve process issues by using process engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance service requests such as setup, repair, troubleshoot.
Analyze, plan, and execution of action for machine breakdown.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance activities as assigned by superior.
Maintain good record keeping and documentation in maintenance activities.
Work with other departments to resolve machine issues.
Maintain compliance to occupational health and safety practice in day‑to‑day job.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in daily work activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Good understanding of electrical diagrams and PLC programming.
Proficient in 3D modeling software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
Knowledge of preventive maintenance concepts.
Hands‑on experience in preventive maintenance activities.
Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a rotating shift pattern.
Experience in medical devices is an advantage.
Familiarity with CNC and lathe machines is a plus.
Hands‑on experience and understanding of coating machine concepts.
Familiarity with optical measurement equipment is a plus.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
