Job Description
Responsibilities
Tax Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement tax strategies tailored to Indonesia's tax regulations (including UU Pajak) for multiple business lines. Ensure strict compliance with all tax obligations, including income tax (PPh), value-added tax (PPN), withholding tax, and other relevant taxes. Handle tax filing, tax audits, and tax dispute resolution with local tax authorities (Directorate General of Taxes / Direktorat Jenderal Pajak, DGT) efficiently.
Financial Management for Multiple Businesses: Oversee the financial operations in Indonesia. Conduct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making. Monitor financial performance, identify financial risks, and propose mitigation measures.
Payroll Calculation & Management: Responsible for accurate and timely payroll calculation for all employees across different business lines, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations (including UU Ketenagakerjaan, minimum wage, overtime pay, holiday pay, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan / BPJS Kesehatan, etc.). Manage payroll-related records, coordinate with HR department, and handle payroll-related inquiries.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP (PSAK) and company requirements. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team based on financial reports.
Accounting Operations Oversight: Supervise the daily accounting work, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and accounting records.
Team Management & Development: Lead and manage the finance team, assign tasks, provide guidance and training, and improve the professional capabilities of team members. Establish and optimize financial processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
Cross-departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR, operations, and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial-related work. Provide financial support and advice for cross-departmental projects and business expansions in Indonesia.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Indonesia (AP) is preferred.
At least 5 years of financial management experience in Indonesia, with strong tax expertise (familiar with Indonesian tax laws (UU Pajak), tax filing processes, and tax planning for multiple industries).
Prior working experience in call center, cash lending, ride-sharing, or related industries in Indonesia is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple business lines' financial operations simultaneously, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in payroll calculation, familiar with Indonesian labor laws and regulations (UU Ketenagakerjaan) and social security requirements (BPJS) related to payroll.
Familiar with Indonesian GAAP (PSAK) and financial reporting standards. Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zahir, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
English proficiency is required
