Director of Engineering

Adecco Indonesia is representing a leading agriculture organization that is accelerating its business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic engineering and operational plans for palm oil mills to ensure optimal capacity utilization and operational performance. Oversee and evaluate mill operations to achieve excellence in Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale, and Environment (PQCDSME). Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies to improve product quality and minimize processing losses. Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining optimal quality standards for CPO and kernel production. Ensure all mill operations comply with applicable safety, environmental, regulatory, and sustainability standards. Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for senior engineering and mill leadership teams. Collaborate with Human Capital to identify, develop, and prepare successor talent for key mill and engineering leadership roles. Build strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in the palm oil industry, with strong exposure to mill operations and engineering management. At least 3 years of experience in a senior leadership or director-level role. Proven experience managing multiple palm oil mill units and large operational teams. Strong strategic thinking, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. Willingness to travel frequently to mill sites as required.
