Windows 11 Migration consultant

The client has began the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration for the LabPCs / Kiosk PCs project this year. Duration: 6+ months renewable Location: Europe(100% remote) This project will migrate approximately 400 PCs across 36 sites worldwide. We are looking for a consultant to participate in the project, installing and configuring laboratory applications on Windows 11 PCs during the project phase.

Goals: Organize the migration plan with the end users and the on‑site support team. Test and verify the application's compatibility with Windows 11. Install and configure the applications on Windows 11 PCs and prepare the installation documentation. If an application is not compatible with Windows 11, contact the application vendor to obtain a new version, then install, configure, and document it on Windows 11. Fix any connection issues between PCs, lab equipment, and the network. Troubleshoot issues encountered during the migration. Train end users on how to use the applications (if necessary) Migrate data from the old version of the application to the new one, from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Handle incidents and service requests for Lab PCs and Kiosk PCs related to the migration. Skills: Solid foundation in IT, including network infrastructure, databases, software deployment, and upgrades. Relevant work experience of 3 to 5 years in the Workstation domain and laboratory applications Strong experience in laboratory environments: PCs, equipment, data processing, etc. Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and communicate effectively Fluent in English; French is an asset Solid experience with laboratory applications such as ACD/Labs, OpenLab, ChemStation, AgiLab, etc. Ability to work in a team environment; self‑motivated with good organizational skills
