Job Description

Overview The Study Abroad Academic Officer will play a key role in leading and developing Kobi Education’s Study Abroad Academic Division. This role involves managing academic operations, coordinating mentor recruitment and training, improving study abroad products, and ensuring high-quality academic standards throughout the mentoring process. The ideal candidate is a business‑minded, open, and empathetic individual who understands Kobi’s business process and is passionate about advancing global education opportunities for students.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the Study Abroad Academic team to ensure effective execution of mentoring programs.

Oversee mentor recruitment in collaboration with the HR team.

Design, implement, launch, and review new or improved Study Abroad products and academic initiatives.

Conduct and coordinate research related to global education and scholarship trends.

Manage and facilitate mentor training sessions, both internal and external.

Supervise and support Study Abroad mentors to ensure program consistency and quality.

Evaluate and monitor the performance of academic activities to maintain excellence in student outcomes.

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Academic, Marketing, Sales) to enhance the overall Study Abroad experience.

Provide reports and recommendations to the Academic Supervisor regarding Study Abroad development and improvements.

Ensure smooth coordination between mentors, students, and internal teams.

Handle other necessary tasks related to Study Abroad operations as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (S1/S2) from any major.

Graduate from an overseas university (lulusan luar negeri).

2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in education, academic management, or study abroad programs.

Strong understanding of the study abroad journey, scholarships, and academic workflow.

Excellent management and leadership skills (project, time, and team management).

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.

Decision‑maker with a creative, open‑minded, and empathetic approach.

Business‑minded and able to prioritize organizational goals.

Proficiency in Google Workspace and online learning tools.

Willing to work full‑time (Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day) hybrid.
