Global Procurement Manager

Overview Establish and optimize the company's global procurement system (with focus on Indonesia). Lead international sourcing of critical components, raw materials, and outsourced parts; manage supplier development and relationships; control costs; and implement procurement strategies. Ensure supply chain stability, cost competitiveness, and quality reliability through efficient international procurement, thereby supporting the company's global business expansion and strategic objectives. Expert in international trading (export and import), experienced with Indonesia customs regulation.

Primary Responsibilities

Formulate and execute the company's international procurement strategy, plan procurement layouts for Indonesia region, and optimize procurement channels.

Establish and refine international supplier development, evaluation, assessment, and management systems and processes.

Analyze bulk raw material market trends in Indonesia. Conduct procurement market risk assessments and develop countermeasures.

Lead global sourcing, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding of new suppliers to build a qualified supplier directory.

Manage key supplier relationships (especially overseas core component suppliers), conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.

Administer long-term agreements with strategic suppliers, promote technical collaboration, and pursue joint cost reduction initiatives.

Procurement Execution and Cost Control

Lead international procurement negotiations, contract execution, and fulfillment for major, critical, and bulk materials.

Achieve annual cost reduction targets through value engineering, target cost analysis, competitive bidding, and other methodologies.

Monitor international procurement costs, exchange rates, taxes, and logistics expenses to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).

Supply Chain Collaboration and Risk Management

Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production departments to drive Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) and complete new component approvals.

Manage delivery, order tracking, customs clearance, and exception handling for supply chains.

Identify and manage supply chain disruption risks (e.g., geopolitical tensions, trade friction, logistics bottlenecks) and develop contingency plans.

Team and Daily Management

Build the national procurement team, lead the international procurement team, provide operational guidance, and foster talent development.

Responsible for statistical analysis of relevant procurement data and preparation of management reports.
