AI & Engineering Data Specialist – Unlock Engineering Intelligence Across the Full Product Lifecycle!

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regulated, defence-aligned industrial organisation managing a portfolio of 100+ complex projects.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, engineering data, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). As an AI & Engineering Data Specialist, you would ensure valuable engineering data is captured, structured, and made usable from day one - not retrospectively at project completion. You’ll join at a strategic inflection point, helping design and implement the data extraction and structuring capabilities that maximise long-term value creation across product development.

Your Role: You will act as the technical authority for AI-supported information extraction and engineering data structuring. The focus is on consolidating knowledge early in the development process and enabling structured data utilisation across the entire product lifecycle.

What You’ll Do: Design and implement structured data extraction frameworks across engineering workflows Analyse and structure engineering data generated throughout the product development process Apply AI-driven methodologies for knowledge collection and data utilisation (within compliant environments) Support and enhance Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) data integration Consolidate engineering knowledge from early project stages to ensure value creation at project completion Implement tools and processes that enable consistent, structured data usage across the product lifecycle Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align data strategy with operational needs Operate within strict defence compliance and data governance frameworks

What You Bring: Proven experience in AI-supported data extraction within engineering environments Strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience structuring and analysing complex engineering data Background in regulated or defence-related environments preferred Experience implementing knowledge management or structured data systems across product development Ability to work in high-compliance environments with strict security constraints
