Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist
Work Schedule:

Role Overview:
We are helping our client company, an established 8-figure direct-to-consumer apparel brand, hire an email marketing specialist to improve execution, consistency, and long-term performance. The brand currently uses
Klaviyo (email)
and
Postscript (SMS) .
This role requires strong ownership of lifecycle strategy, segmentation, automation, and structured testing within a high-frequency sending environment.
Main Goal of This Role:
Increase customer retention by strengthening the
customer journey , optimizing
welcome flows and automations , and improving overall email cadence and segmentation.
This role will define and refine:
What the ideal customer journey looks like
How customers move through welcome and post-purchase flows
How cadence and segmentation impact long-term LTV
What testing approach drives consistent improvement
Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day execution of email campaigns in
Klaviyo , including structured segmentation and cadence management
Support SMS marketing efforts via
Postscript , aligning campaigns with lifecycle strategy
Build and optimize customer journeys, including welcome flows, onboarding flows, and retention automations
Improve list health and long-term LTV through thoughtful segmentation
Develop monthly campaign calendars based on marketing briefs (holidays, promotions, themes)
Lead structured A/B testing (subject lines, timing, segmentation, single-product vs. multi-product emails, etc.)
Apply historical performance learnings to improve future campaigns
Ensure strong follow-through and consistent execution
Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with
Klaviyo
Familiarity with
Postscript
or SMS lifecycle marketing
Experience managing high-frequency email environments
Strong understanding of customer journey and lifecycle marketing
Testing-oriented and comfortable owning retention performance
An analytical, data-driven, and optimization mindset is a must
At least 3 years of experience in the email marketing field.
