Production Manager

Company Overview PT. Mark Dynamics Indonesia (PTMD) is a premium hand former manufacturer established in 2003 in Medan Star Industrial Estate, Tanjung Morawa, North Sumatera. The factory covers 10,000 square metres and has a capacity of 300,000 pieces per month. We produce nitrile and latex examination former, surgical former, household former, and other hand formers, applying ISO 9001:2008 quality management and continuous improvement with a Japanese Technical Team, laboratory testing, and modern production technology.

Role Summary We are seeking a Production Assistant Manager to plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

Set the production schedule to achieve targets according to delivery schedule and customer requests.

Ensure manufacturing processes run effectively and efficiently.

Manage workers at all levels; motivate, control, and develop them to achieve targets.

Secure and assure the availability of resources for the manufacturing process.

Coordinate with QC Department on all quality issues.

Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties for production purposes.

Ensure work processes comply with existing Work Instructions and SOPs.

Qualifications

Diploma degree majoring in engineering (Industry or Manufacturing).

At least 8 years of related work experience, including 2 years in a managerial role (Manager, Head, Superintendent, or similar) in ceramic or toilet ceramic manufacture.

Proven experience achieving targets based on quality and quantitative standards.

Strong leadership, excellent at building and developing teamwork.

Open to challenge, works well under pressure, has excellent analytical thinking, and communicates effectively at all levels.

Problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.

Willingness to relocate for the role.

Availability to work outside normal hours when required (e.g., weekends, evenings, public holidays).
