What you'll do: As a Senior Process Engineer based in Jakarta, you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end process engineering solutions for major projects within the dairy and beverage sector. Your day-to-day activities will involve interpreting complex technical requirements from contracts or sales teams; preparing intricate P&IDs; developing RFQs for various process components; compiling utility consumption data; drafting automation-ready process descriptions; participating in FATs; supporting BOM creation; collaborating on layout designs; reviewing 3D models; guiding installation teams; conducting thorough inspections; assisting with commissioning schedules; performing rigorous testing procedures; facilitating operator training; preparing essential documentation; closing out projects efficiently; and providing expert technical support throughout each phase. Prepare detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for processes, utilities, and equipment in close collaboration with the design team. Develop technical requests for quotations (RFQs) covering process components, valves, equipment, instruments, utility components, and tanks, ensuring all technical specifications are accurate. Compile comprehensive utility consumption lists and equipment lists with full component details for seamless project execution. Draft clear process descriptions for automation purposes and actively participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), addressing any corrective actions as needed. Support Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation for installation phases, providing technical clarifications to suppliers when required. Collaborate with the design team to prepare equipment layouts, review 3D piping layouts, valve matrices, clusters, and installation materials for optimal project outcomes. Offer guidance and clarification to site installation teams throughout the installation process, including conducting final inspections to verify compliance with P&IDs. Assist project managers in preparing commissioning schedules, support I/O testing, instrument calibration, sequence testing with water, CIP testing/commissioning, product trials, operator training sessions, and documentation preparation. Provide ongoing technical support during project closure phases by resolving punchlists and offering assistance during initial production runs.
