About the Role We are seeking a highly technical, performance-driven

Full-Stack WordPress Developer

to own and scale a portfolio of 10+ digital properties across WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. This role goes far beyond theme customization. You will serve as the technical backbone of the organization — managing infrastructure, eliminating technical debt, optimizing performance, building custom integrations, and ensuring data flows seamlessly across platforms. You must be comfortable operating as a “department of one” while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, content, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities Portfolio & Infrastructure Management Maintain and strategically upgrade 10+ websites (custom WordPress/PHP, Shopify D2C, WooCommerce wholesale) Own Git-based deployment workflows and infrastructure stability Ensure 99.9% uptime, backups, security patching, and DNS stability Eliminate technical debt and unify deployment strategies across properties Manage domain configurations for outreach and email deliverability

Performance & Conversion Optimization Improve Core Web Vitals and overall page performance Implement advanced tracking via Google Tag Manager Map and optimize customer journeys through custom events Research and implement AI-Enhanced Optimization (AEO) best practices Optimize technical SEO and site architecture

Custom Development Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins (no builder dependency) Build high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns Lead technical execution of full redesigns Collaborate with designers to ensure scalable, performant builds

Requirements Core Technical Expertise 4+ years of custom WordPress development (core, hooks, DB structure) Strong PHP and JavaScript proficiency Expert-level Git workflows Shopify + WooCommerce experience (wholesale focus)
