Role Description The

QC Engineer (MEP)

will be responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards. This role focuses on quality inspections, testing verification, and documentation to support smooth project execution and successful handover—particularly for Data Center and large-scale MEP projects.

Job Description Conduct inspections on MEP works including Mechanical (HVAC, piping), Electrical (power, lighting, grounding, ELV), and Plumbing systems. Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements. Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), quality procedures, and inspection checklists. Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet project and approved submittal standards. Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities in coordination with engineering and site teams. Coordinate closely with MEP Superintendent, discipline engineers, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues. Prepare and maintain QC documentation including inspection reports, test results, RFI logs, punch lists, and as-built records. Support final inspections, authority inspections, and project handover documentation. Ensure all QC inspection activities comply with HSE requirements and site safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QC roles within construction or MEP projects. Experience in Data Center or large-scale MEP projects is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of MEP standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, SMACNA, SNI, etc.). Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.
