What You’ll Do As a Macroeconomic Research Analyst, you’ll work closely with our investment team to develop insights and tools that directly support real-time investment decisions. This is a hands‑on, learning-intensive role ideal for someone curious about financial markets and passionate about applying data-driven methods to solve complex problems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain proprietary macro models covering GDP, inflation, current account dynamics, and monetary policy across G10 and EM economies

Monitor and synthesize central bank communications (Fed, ECB, BOJ, RBI, BOK, PBoC) to forecast policy trajectories and rate differentials

Track real-time economic data releases with a focus on deviations from consensus and second-order market implications

Translate macro views into specific trade recommendations across rates, FX, equities

Prepare daily/weekly market commentary synthesizing macro developments, central bank signaling, and positioning data

Monitor global capital flows, speculative positioning (COT, prime brokerage data), and investor sentiment indicators

Build and maintain relationships with sell-side economists, central bank watchers, and independent macro researchers

Who We’re Looking For Technical Skills

A minimum master’s degree/PHD with a major in economics or a related field

2 to 5 years of experience as a macro-economic researcher

Proficient in Python and/or R

Familiarity with statistical and econometric concepts

Helpful Experience

Exposure to macroeconomic or financial data tools like Bloomberg, CEIC, Haver, or Macrobond

Interest in financial markets and macroeconomic trends

Soft Skills
