Job Description
Business Development Officer – Petroleum
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the petroleum (oil & gas) industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, contractors, and vendors.
Manage the full tender process from opportunity sourcing to document submission.
Prepare commercial and technical proposals in coordination with internal teams.
Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions with clients.
Monitor sales pipeline and ensure revenue targets are achieved.
Perform market analysis and competitor assessment within the petroleum sector.
Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within Oil & Gas.
Strong understanding of tender and procurement processes in the petroleum industry.
Existing network with operators or contractors is an advantage.
Ability to review and understand technical and commercial documents.
Proven negotiation skills and target-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willing to travel for business purposes.
