Job Description
Develop and manage
freight forwarding sales activities
(sea freight, and/or land transportation) to achieve sales targets.
Identify and acquire
new customers , while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Prepare and submit
quotations , negotiate
pricing , and
follow up until deal closure.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure
smooth shipment execution .
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Maintain accurate
sales pipeline and reporting .
Handle customer inquiries, provide regular shipment updates, and resolve service issues professionally.
Support management in achieving
revenue growth and market expansion
in Jakarta area.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Logistics, Business, Management, or related fields
(preferred).
Minimum
2–4 years of experience
in
freight forwarding sales , preferably in freight.
Strong understanding of
freight forwarding processes, Incoterms, and shipping documentation .
Proven track record in
customer acquisition and sales target achievement .
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation
skills.
Result-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Familiar with
Jakarta logistics market
and customer network is a strong advantage.
