Assistant Manager Material Control (Mandarin Speaker)
Maintain an uninterrupted supply of all elements required for the production process to run smoothly.
Responsibilities and Duties
Accountable for on-time delivery of material and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Measure and monitor MC teams performance with KPIs and drive improvement.
Supervises and directs the Material Control in demand and capacity planning and management.
Monitor excessive material closely and take proactive actions to minimize/reuse/resale of excess.
Work closely with Scheduling and operation teams to minimize the impact to production due to material.
Carry out monthly supplier ratings and drive continuous improvement of suppliers overall performance.
Develop, evaluation and motivate team.
Follow company program:
Comply and supervising regulations, culture and OHS (including to ensure work tools accordance standard), energy, quality and environment programs to ensure implement company management system runs smoothly.
Identify, report and review related OHS (work accident), audit OHS and improvement, energy, quality and environment management system to ensure and improve company management system.
Requirement
Candidates must be aware about Safety and Health and make it a priority.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Experience at least 5 years of people management and PMC or procurement experience.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems, forecasting and budgeting, analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities, SAP in-depth knowledge, proficient in MS Office.
Skills: Decision making, Negotiation skill, Planning and organizing, Improvement management, Supplier management.
Personality: Leads and influences others, communicates effectively, drives collaboration, customer focus.
Understanding vision, mission of company and safety policy.
Understanding standards in work areas related regulation of OHS, Energy, Quality and Environment.
