Business Banking Lawyer

The role involves advising on lending transactions for business borrowers across a number of industry segments. These transactions are typically documented on standardised internal documents, but you may also be required to work with external lawyers to prepare bespoke loan documentation for larger transactions. You will be required to assist with transaction structuring, reviewing agreements, drafting advices and responding to queries from teams across the lending business including the sales, credit, marketing, documentation, product and collections teams. You will also be required to support initiatives to grow and scale the lending business, and to participate in regulatory compliance projects and the investigation and reporting of regulatory breaches.
