Job Description

Job Description Perform preventive maintenance, repair, replacement, installation and commissioning under minimal supervision. Interfaces directly with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.

Attend to vessels at anchorage, shipyards, and within the Asian region.

Conduct inspection, servicing, and calibration of onboard marine systems such as ODME (Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment) and OWS (Oily Water Separator), including the issuance of certificates.

Perform calibration, functional testing, and spare parts verification in accordance with industry standards.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to expand the service and maintenance portfolio while enhancing client satisfaction.

Proactively identify opportunities to promote additional services, spare parts, and products during field operations, and document potential business leads in service reports for follow-up by sales personnel.

Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation following field assignments.

Collaborate with sister companies to implement continuous improvements and optimise maintenance procedures.

Perform any additional duties as required, whether scheduled or ad-hoc.

Technical Product Knowledge, Learning & Development

Stay updated on product specifications and provide support on basic technical inquiries.

To provide remote troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Individuals who demonstrate outstanding performance will be considered for leadership roles, including the management of a team of service engineers, etc.

Job Requirements

Candidate should possess at least a Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer in the marine industry.

Strong technical skills and expertise in the maintenance and repair of marine systems.

Experience in Automation and Instrumentation will be an advantage.

Candidates with prior experience onboard vessels at anchorage and within shipyard environments will be preferred.

English literacy is a MUST.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.

Have initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to travel to client sites as required.

Willing to work after office hours, weekends and holidays.

A valid driving license.

Field of Study Mechanical / Marine Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
