Environmental Health Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Environmental Health Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) to support the construction and operational safety management of our manufacturing project in IWIP, Indonesia. The role will play a key part in ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations during project development and site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Safety ManagementOversee safety management throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, construction, and commissioning phases.Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and company standards across project sites.HSE Site ManagementImplement company safety policies, legal requirements, and HSE standards on site.Lead daily health, safety, and environmental management activities under the guidance of the project leadership team.Safety Training & AwarenessOrganize safety training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure personnel follow safe working practices.Hazard Identification & Risk ControlConduct safety inspections and hazard identification activities.Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of safety risks.HSE Systems & Emergency PlanningSupport the development of safety management systems, operating procedures, and emergency response plans.Organize and participate in safety drills to ensure preparedness and effectiveness.QualificationsAssociate degree or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.Minimum 3 years of safety or environmental management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial construction projects.Familiarity with construction site safety management and hazardous operation control.Knowledge of Indonesian safety and environmental regulations.Certification such as Registered Safety Engineer or familiarity with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management systems is preferred.Proficiency in Indonesian is required; English and/or Chinese skills are a plus.Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, and ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.Proficient in Microsoft Office.What We OfferOpportunity to join a newly established manufacturing project in IWIP, Indonesia.Competitive salary package.Social security and benefits provided in accordance with Indonesian regulations.6 days per week / 8 hours per day work schedule.
