Chemical Process Operator

Job Summary Under direct supervision, responsible to work as an integral part of the production team and may be responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problems arise, and recording information about equipment and compounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitor the target achievement closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems immediately.

Perform Anodizing, Passivation, Chemical Conversion Coating operations based on qualification documents.

Perform lot testing and verification of compliance to the requirements of Chemical Process qualification documents.

Responsible for mixing chemical and preparation of Chemical Process solution.

Responsible to carry out masking and demasking Chemical Process part according to the procedure.

Perform cleaning of parts based on Chemical Process qualification documents.

Perform compressed air quality checking in Chemical Process area and reporting on appropriate form.

Perform controlling of racks and basket for parts according to the procedure.

Perform pre-penetrant Etch Inspection of steels.

Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.

Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times.

Perform the daily preventive maintenance activities to the process requirement.

Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

Track the process and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.

Adhere to all safety rules, use, and ensure that workers use the required protective equipment.

Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.

Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

S02 grade may have more/higher target to achieve.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Special Process Line Leader and Special Process Production Supervisor.
