Arup is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Designer / Senior Architect to join our Singapore team. This role focuses on providing hands‑on design and technical support to the group, and documentation for a wide variety of projects in Infrastructure, Science and Industry, Sports and Leisure, asset enhancement and other architecture and planning projects.

The Opportunity

Lead and oversee design and project delivery across the architecture practice, driving excellence in execution through the integration of sustainable design, innovative technologies, and circular economy principles.

Coordinate with project teams on large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects to ensure sound delivery and rigorous design quality reviews.

Mentor and train junior and mid‑level staff, fostering skill growth, team capability, and maintaining motivation under pressure.

Collaborate with leaders to set project directions, manage budgets, achieve commercial outcomes, and pursue new opportunities across infrastructure, buildings, and consulting.

Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work effectively across technical and non‑technical environments, and represent the organization at events and in project delivery initiatives.

Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture;

At least with 7 years’ experience at leading design practices with a strong career focus on design and within a consulting business environment

Preferably be a Registered Architect in Singapore

Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines in Singapore – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S

Proficient in BIM and Autodesk Revit, Sketch‑up, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Illustrator or other 3D software is an advantage

Proficient in Microsoft office tools
