SAP Cutover Manager

We are currently searching for a freelance SAP Cutover Manager as part of a Greenfield S/4HANA program.

Please note there will be up to 50% travel initially, thereafter 25% (within Europe).

Tasks Include: Act as the central lead for all cutover planning and execution activities across the S/4HANA program. Develop and maintain the end-to-end cutover strategy, plan, and detailed runbook. Coordinate business and technical teams to ensure readiness for go-live, including data migration, system readiness, and business continuity planning. Lead cutover workshops and mock cutovers to validate sequencing, dependencies, and timing. Manage risks, issues, and contingency planning related to go-live and hypercare phases. Align with the System Integrator on deployment strategy, environment management, and release coordination. Ensure clear communication across all workstreams and provide executive-level status reporting during cutover phases. Oversee data migration cutover activities including final loads, reconciliation, and sign-off.

Required Skills: 5+ years’ experience in SAP program delivery with at least 2–3 full lifecycle S/4HANA cutover/go-live experiences. Proven experience developing and executing complex cutover plans within large transformation programs. Strong understanding of data migration, environment management, and release coordination. Experience working within regulated or highly controlled environments is advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under tight timelines. Fluent English required.
