Head of Engineer

About the role As the Head of Engineering at PT Grahaniaga Tatautama, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the engineering and technical operations of the company's properties. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems to maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for tenants and clients.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the engineering team responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of building infrastructure.

Coordinate with tenants to address any engineering-related issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.

Monitor and analyze energy consumption data to identify opportunities for cost savings and sustainability improvements.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Manage and oversee the procurement of necessary equipment, materials, and services for the engineering department.

Prepare, propose, and monitor the Annual Budget to the Division Head.

Provide technical expertise and support to other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Systems.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the same role, preferably in the property management industry.

Proven track record of leading and managing an engineering team effectively.

Excellent knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and industry best practices.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans, schematics, and technical documentation.

Effective communication skills to liaise with tenants and cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with relevant high building codes, regulations, ISO, sustainability best practices, energy efficiency, green building, risk management, and cost-effectiveness.

Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
