UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

The UI/UX Designer will define and craft the end-to-end user experience of the rebuilt Minexchange (C9B Sister Company) platform. You will translate complex mining asset transaction workflows into intuitive, elegant interfaces for three distinct user types, buyers, sellers, and agents. Your design decisions will directly impact how thousands of global mining decision-makers discover assets, evaluate deals, and transact on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead UX research: user interviews, persona development, and journey mapping for buyers, sellers, and agents Design end-to-end user flows for core platform features: asset listing, search & discovery, deal room, dashboards, MXE Agent portal, and MXE TV content hub Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma Develop and maintain a consistent design system and component library aligned with The Minexchange brand Collaborate with the Full-Stack Developer to ensure accurate, pixel-perfect implementation Translate data and analytics requirements (from the Data Engineer) into clear, actionable dashboard visualizations Design for AI-integrated features: recommendation surfaces, smart search, asset valuation indicators Conduct usability testing and iterate based on real user feedback Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) Create design documentation and handoff specs for development

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in UI/UX design for web applications or SaaS platforms Proficiency in Figma (prototyping, components, auto-layout, design systems) Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, from research to high-fidelity UI Experience designing data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, filters, and charts Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles Familiarity with front-end constraints (HTML/CSS basics, how components are built) Experience conducting user research and usability testing Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) Experience in B2B, marketplace, or fintech products is preferred Exposure to AI-assisted design tools (Framer AI, Galileo, etc.) is a plus Strong visual design sensibility with attention to typography, spacing, and hierarchy
