Accounting & Tax (English Speaker)

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable accountant to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in both accounting and inventory processes. This role includes overseeing warehouse stock reporting and ensuring alignment between physical inventory and financial data. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, e-commerce taxation, experience with inventory control, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and oversee monthly and annual closing processes.

Manage Financial Transactions & Reporting: Process accounts payable/receivable, prepare financial statements, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Oversee Inventory & Stock Accounting: Monitor and reconcile warehouse stock, ensure accurate inventory valuation, and collaborate with warehouse teams.

Support Audits & Compliance: Ensure tax compliance (e.g., VAT, PPh) and assist with internal and external audit processes.

Conduct Inventory Analysis & Reporting: Assist with stock opname, analyze inventory movements and discrepancies, and generate inventory reports for management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or any related field.

1+ years of experience as a Tax Officer or in a similar role.

Experience working in a brand that sells through e-commerce platforms is a must.

Proficiency in using English, both written and spoken, is required.

Possessing Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred (or required).

Proficient in operating relevant Accounting tools and software.

Familiarity with inventory systems and stock management processes.

Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards for handling sensitive tax-related information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams, external auditors, and tax authorities.

Ability to stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and industry trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
