is building an AI-native platform that transforms dealmaking. The product enables in-house legal teams to process thousands of pages in seconds, extracting insights and risks with precision.

The Role We are looking for an Engineering Lead to own the platform end-to-end — from architecture and team building to production reliability and AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities Full-Stack Ownership: Lead architecture, development, and scalability of a multi-tenant SaaS platform (cloud + on-prem ready). Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap, evaluate technologies, and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Team Leadership: Hire and lead a 7+ engineer team. Establish strong engineering culture, quarterly OKRs, and measurable outcomes. Engineering Excellence: Implement AI-assisted SDLC (Copilot/Cursor), spec-driven development (RFCs/ADRs, OpenAPI/GraphQL), trunk-based CI/CD with quality gates, full observability, and security best practices. AI & RAG Architecture: Build hybrid LLM infrastructure (cloud + self-hosted), model gateway, retrieval with citations, guardrails, evals, and cost controls. Platform & Infrastructure: Kubernetes-based SaaS (Helm/ArgoCD/Terraform), MariaDB, OpenSearch/Qdrant, Redis, Kafka/NATS. Ensure tenant isolation, encryption, and production-grade reliability. Documents & Integrations: Own ingestion, OCR, semantic chunking, secure document viewer, and integrations with Microsoft 365, iManage, DocuSign, etc. Monetization & Compliance: Implement service catalog, usage metering, billing, tax, rev-rec, ERP integration. Ensure SSO, ABAC, BYOK/KMS, GDPR compliance, auditability, and supply-chain security.

Profile 7+ years engineering experience, 3+ in leadership Proven track record delivering complex multi-tenant SaaS systems Hands-on full-stack (Python/Vue; Rust is a plus) Experience with hybrid LLM systems and RAG Strong understanding of BSS (billing, metering, tax, rev-rec) Security/compliance expertise (SSO, ABAC, GDPR, KMS) High ownership, strong communication, startup mindset
