About the Job
Our organization is seeking a Financial Analyst who will serve as a bridge between financial output and accounting entries, helping to identify and analyze accounting entries to produce comprehensive reports within SAGE. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and is skilled in producing reports and reconciling information. This role is well-suited for someone with ample experience using SAGE and working with accounting and financial data.
To be successful in this role, you must be an expert in SAGE doing entries, data extraction and producing comprehensive reports along different levels within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts and US GAAP principles. It would be a plus if you have experience with data visualization tools (like Looker, Tableau or Power BI).
In addition to your technical skills, you must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information. You must also be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
● Identify and build automated accounting and financial reports from SAGE for different departments within the organization.
● Support the Finance and accounting teams with data, analysis, and reporting.
● Contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
● Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline financial reporting and data flow
Skills / Qualifications
● Advanced SAGE expertise.
● Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
● Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
● 2–4 years of experience in creating and reconciling accounting and finance reports in SAGE.
● Understanding of financial statements and accounting US GAAP.
● Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with large complex data sets is a plus.
● Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
