Oracle PL/SQL & Forms/Reports Developer (3+ years)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & Forms/Reports Developer to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise insurance systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong PL/SQL programming skills, hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, and a solid understanding of database design and enterprise business workflows. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement to support core insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and queries. Support and enhance applications built on Oracle Forms and Reports. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform database design, performance tuning, and query optimization. Implement system enhancements and support ongoing insurance business processes. Collaborate with business users, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure system documentation is updated and aligned with development standards. Participate in system testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. Solid understanding of relational database design principles. Experience supporting enterprise-level applications (insurance domain experience is a plus). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
