About the role Join the dynamic e-commerce team at PT. Smarket Indonesia Wholesale as an E-commerce Key Executive (Japan Market). This full‑time position is based in Jakarta and offers an exciting opportunity to drive the growth and expansion of our business in the Japanese market.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and revenue generation in the Japanese e‑commerce market.

Manage key relationships with Japanese e‑commerce platforms and online retailers to secure new business and expand existing partnerships.

Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and content to attract and retain Japanese customers.

Monitor and report on the performance of Japanese e‑commerce operations, identifying areas for improvement.

Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress and challenges in the Japanese market.

What we’re looking for

Proven track record of success in e‑commerce sales, with at least 3‑5 years of experience in the Japanese market (Qoo10, Rakuten, TikTok Shop JP etc.).

Excellent understanding of the Japanese e‑commerce landscape, including key platforms, customer behaviour, and industry regulations.

Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills to effectively manage partnerships with Japanese e‑commerce players.

Proficiency in Japanese language, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders.

Analytical skills to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions to drive business growth.

Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
