SAC Backend Engineer

Job Description Design and develop efficient, reusable CDS Views to support analytics and reporting capabilities Build and maintain data models in SAP BW S/4HANA for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Group Reporting, including calculations, hierarchies, and measures Apply best practices in data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning Ensure consistency and integrity of business logic across SAC models and reporting layers Collaborate with Finance, IT, and data analysts to ensure seamless integration between SAP data sources and SAC analytics solutions Support data integration and transformation processes required for SAC analytics and planning use cases

Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing SAP BI/BW, SAC, or related SAP analytics solutions Proven expertise in CDS Views development and SAP data modelling techniques. Experience working with the SAP ecosystem, including S/4HANA, SAP BW, or SAP data structures Strong understanding of SAP BW, SAC, and CDS Views architecture. Experience with SAC for Planning, including data integration, planning models, stories, and reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business stakeholders. Familiarity with financial analysis concepts is a plus SAC / SAP BW certification is an advantage
