Offensive Security Engineer

Role Description This is an on-site contract role for an Offensive Security Engineer located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Offensive Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits, as well as developing security measures to safeguard assets. The role also requires close collaboration with development teams to ensure compliance with security standards and proactively addressing emerging threats.

Qualifications Proficiency in Application Security and Network Security, including penetration testing and secure code review Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices Experience in Security Engineering and developing security controls Expertise in Information Security standards, compliance, and risk management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate security concepts effectively Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or similar are a plus Experience in handling real-world security incidents is advantageous
