A technology-driven organisation is currently building a

new Master Data Management system on Microsoft Azure

and is looking for a

Senior Azure Infrastructure expert

to support the setup and operation of its cloud environment. This role is offered

exclusively on a contractor basis

and is suited to an experienced Azure professional who is comfortable working independently, designing robust infrastructure, and applying best practices in governance, security, and automation.

Master Data Management platform

Microsoft Azure Focus on

infrastructure setup, governance, security, and automation Close collaboration with engineering and application teams Strong emphasis on

Infrastructure as Code

and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities Design, provision, and manage

Azure infrastructure

in line with best practices Implement and maintain

Infrastructure as Code

using

Terraform Modules State management Workspaces and providers Set up and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

(Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) Ensure strong

governance, access control, and security

using Azure RBAC and security best practices Design and support Azure networking components, including: Virtual Networks (VNet) Network Security Groups (NSG) Load Balancers DNS Firewalls Monitor and support operations using

Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud Collaborate with application teams and support automation initiatives Contribute scripting and automation using

PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on expertise in

Azure resource provisioning and operations Expert-level experience with

Terraform Solid experience with

CI/CD automation Deep understanding of

Azure governance, security, and access management Strong knowledge of

cloud networking fundamentals Experience with Azure operational and monitoring tools Scripting experience in

PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python Ability to work independently in a remote setup
