Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer – Fintech - 12 month contract - Must be based in Spain, Germany or France (no UK applicants)

The Platform - Backend services written in Go - Multiple data stores: Redis, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Postgres - Multi-region AWS infrastructure - Multiple Kubernetes (EKS) clusters per region - Envoy edge proxies with global routing - Terraform for Infrastructure as Code - Datadog for monitoring and alerting

About You You have experience with: - AWS and core cloud services - Running and managing Kubernetes in production - Service meshes, ideally Istio & Envoy - Writing production code (any language) - Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Managing SQL & NoSQL databases and distributed caches - Writing clean, modular, and well-tested Terraform

What You’ll Be Doing - Collaborating with passionate engineers to improve security, resiliency, and scalability - Defining and spreading best practices for future-proof services - Continuously improving and automating team workflows
