Senior Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Procurement to lead our sourcing initiatives. In this mid-level managerial role, you will bridge the gap between engineering requirements and commercial execution. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects—from utility-scale solar farms to commercial energy installations—are delivered on time and within budget. If you have a knack for complex contract negotiations and understand the supply chain nuances of the Renewable Energy or Construction (EPC) sectors, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: develop and execute procurement strategies for major categories (PV/EV modules, inverters, racking systems, BOS) and sub‑contracts (civil, electrical, mechanical). Project Management: collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineering teams to review Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure timely delivery of equipment to site. Vendor Management: build and maintain strong relationships with Tier‑1 manufacturers and local subcontractors. Conduct vendor pre‑qualification, performance reviews, and audits. Contract Negotiation: lead negotiations for high‑value contracts, focusing on pricing, Incoterms, warranty terms, and liability clauses to minimize risk. Cost Control: analyze market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality. Manage the procurement budget and report on variances. Logistics Coordination: oversee the end‑to‑end supply chain, including international freight, customs clearance, and domestic transportation to project sites. Who You Are (Requirements)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply‑chain management. Technical Skills: strong Excel modeling skills and other procurement software. Soft Skills: strong leadership capabilities, excellent negotiation tactics, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced project environment. Project Lifecycle: experience handling procurement for Greenfield projects or heavy CapEx infrastructure. Industry DNA: proven track record working within an EPC environment or with an EV/Solar/Energy developer.
