Warehouse Engineer

The role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing warehouse operations to meet KPI targets. This includes improving material handling and storage systems, enhancing cost efficiency, and implementing strong inventory accuracy controls. The position actively drives continuous process improvement, leads stock‑taking activities, and ensures accurate, timely, and safe execution using optimal resources.
Responsibilities
Implement and comply with the Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE) Policy, Quality & Environmental Management System, BSL Policy, Code of Conduct (How We Work), Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), and relevant Government Regulations.
Monitor and ensure the reliability of process equipment—such as cranes, forklifts, walkie stackers, reach racks, packing machines, and in‑house material machines—so they operate properly, safely, and in accordance with SOPs.
Ensure the coil storage management process is carried out in a disciplined, orderly, and real‑time manner.
Monitor and record KPI target output for packing and FG packing processes on a daily basis.
Collaborate with inbound and outbound supervisors to arrange manpower allocation for incoming materials (CRC, ZAL, and chemicals) in a safe, accurate, and proper manner.
Investigate issues using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in warehouse operations and material handling systems
Solid understanding of inventory management systems
Proficient with ERP systems (Infor, SAP), Power BI, and inventory management software
Familiar with A3 reporting methodology
Advanced data analysis skills using Excel and SQL
Intermediate‑level English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Advanced knowledge of WMS and WCS
Familiar with FIFO and LIFO systems
Strong technical expertise in digital warehouse systems
Creative and results‑oriented
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Able to lead and train warehouse staff
