Job Description
To manage and lead all sales activities within the industrial segment, focusing on achieving revenue targets, market development, and building long-term relationships with industrial clients. Responsible for developing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure that the solutions offered align with B2B customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales plans.
Prepare sales budgets and forecasts based on market trends and historical performance.
Customer & Business Relationship Management
Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with key industrial clients.
Identify customer needs through regular visits, technical discussions, and feedback analysis.
Handle negotiations and finalize commercial contracts.
Consistently achieve annual sales targets.
Conduct upselling and cross-selling activities to existing customers.
Identify and evaluate new sales opportunities in emerging industrial sectors.
Technical Coordination & Customer Service
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including tender submissions (if required).
Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Plan, recruit, and train sales team members.
Set sales quotas and regularly monitor and evaluate team performance.
Provide strategic direction and coaching to the team throughout the B2B sales process.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and changing market demands.
Provide input to product and marketing teams for product development and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Engineering, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B/industrial sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Solid understanding of technical and operational processes in industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, mining, energy, construction).
Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Willing to travel for business purposes (if required).
Based in Greater Jakarta (JABODETABEK).
